What Is It?
• An individually directed retreat of one week made during the course of everyday life.
• The retreat begins on Sunday, February 21 at 1:30 pm in the Holy Infant Room. At this gathering, there is prayer as a group and each participant meets his/her prayer guide (lasts about 90 minutes).
• Monday through Friday, each participant prays privately for at least 30 minutes each day.
• Monday through Friday, each participant also meets privately with his/her prayer guide for 30 minutes each day. These confidential meetings take place at parish facilities in the afternoons or evenings, at the convenience of each participant.
• Prayer guides are not allowed to serve in their own parish, nor may companion someone they know.
• Prayer guides offer retreatants suggestions for the private prayer times such as Scripture passages, instructions for certain forms of prayer, exercises, poetry, etc. These suggestions are tailored to each retreatant.
• Since each participant is unique (as well as each prayer guide), exactly what happens during the retreat is different for each person.
• Closing of the retreat is celebrated as a group on Saturday, February 27 at 8:45 am in the Holy Infant Room (lasts about 90 minutes).
• One may still participate in the retreat if not able to attend the gatherings on February 21

• This retreat is tailored to what you desire as an individual participant.
• It offers the opportunity to journey for awhile with an experienced prayer guide regarding your relationship with God and to become more aware of God’s presence in your life.
• The retreat also offers the opportunity to explore new ways of praying and an introduction to Ignatian Spirituality.
Who Can Make this Retreat?
• This is an ecumenical program so any adult is welcome regardless of church affiliation or denomination.
