As you may know, in 2006 we introduced a new program at our parish called Faith Direct. This program, which enables parishioners to make offertory contributions to Holy Infant via automatic payment from their checking or credit card accounts, has made a tremendous impact on our offertory and second collections.
I am hopeful you will join the nearly 300 parishioners who are using Faith Direct for their gifts to Holy Infant. This program has proven to be a much more cost effective way for our parish to receive donations. We are currently paying over $10,000 per year to print envelopes and mail them to you. For every family that has signed up for Faith Direct, that is one package of envelopes for which we do not have to pay to be printed or mailed. Your contributions through Faith Direct will also be automatically posted to our parish records, thereby lessening the Monday morning workload in the parish office. Most importantly, Faith Direct has provided us with a consistent monthly cash flow which enables our parish to operate more effectively.
